IUCBR, M.G. University Scholars Win International Travel Awards for ISN-ASN 2025 and INSAR 2025 Meetings

 

Four Ph.D. scholars from the Inter-University Centre for Biomedical Research and Super Speciality Hospital (IUCBR & SSH), Mahatma Gandhi University, have been selected for the prestigious International Society for Neurochemistry (ISN) and American Society for Neurochemistry (ASN) Travel Award to attend the ISN-ASN 2025 Meeting, scheduled to be held in New York, USA, from 19 to 22 August 2025.

The awardees — Merlin Jeejo, Jimna Mohamed Ameer, Roana Liz George, and Safreena N — have been recognised for their outstanding contributions to neuroscience research at IUCBR & SSH. This international recognition is a testament to the quality and global relevance of the research being conducted at the centre.

In addition, Roana Liz George has also been selected for the International Society for Autism Research (INSAR) 2025 Travel Award, enabling her to participate in the INSAR Annual Meeting in Washington, USA, from 30 April to 3 May 2025.
